Since then, a few Asian-based virtual stars have joined Miquela’s ranks. Bangkok Naughty Boo and Ai-Ailynn came on the scene in the midst of Covid-19 lockdowns. Generation Z users were immediately drawn to their personas due to the increasing popularity of metaverse (ahem, Meta).
