This interesting article about a neuroscientist working on uploading his own brain to the web caught our attention. The article explores a lot of the hard questions about the possibility and promise such a future may bring. But it struck us that it’s only been 9 months since John Hellerman was inspired by the movie Her and wrote a well-received, highly-discussed article entitled, “The Law Firms of the Future will be the Lawyers of the Past,” predicting just such a future where the best lawyers brains (and by extension anyone’s) will, one day, be made into algorithms so their genius can provide valuable counsel forever.
